Meet the Team
Doreen – Dental Assistant :
I’m known as the “Bad Penny” because I keep coming back to the office. I’ve been associated for the past 30 plus years, either by working full time, substituting, or training new assistants. I’m so glad to be back full time. My husband Dan and I have 3 children, Erin, Joshua, and Mikaela, now young adults. Along with helping my husband with his Land Surveying business, dental assisting, odd jobs, and the family I’ve keep busy over the years. Now I can come back to what I enjoy most, doing “Dentistry”. I am looking forward to meeting you and providing you a great dental experience.
Michelle – Front Desk and Insurance Co-ordinator:
I have worked for Fingerlakes Smiles since the fall of 1994. I share assisting duties and front desk tasks with Doreen. My husband Ron and I have two beautiful children, Nick and Marissa. I enjoy working out and reading but most of all I enjoy being with my family and taking care of my dog Sophie.
Danielle – Hygienist :
I have been working as a hygienist here since July 2014; but I have been a patient here since 1992! My Mom was a receptionist here in the 90’s and my Dad is a dental sales rep, but was a dental technician in the military. I guess it was fate that I ended up in the dental field myself! I live in Throop with my fiancé, Ross, and my two Springer Spaniels, Elsa and Leia.
Kathy – Hygienist :
I joined the office as a Dental Hygienist in 2006. I first started working in a dental office as an assistant when I was 15 years old and have loved it ever since. I received my degree from Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY. My husband Donald and I have a growing family. Our son Tim is an engineer. He and his wife Theresa have three beautiful sons, Dylan, Dustin, and Lucas. Our younger son is a dentist in Maine. In my spare time I love to work on crossword puzzles and travel.
Jeannine – Hygienist:
I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 20 years with extensive experience in both the periodontal and general dentistry fields. Originally from Long Island, I graduated Phi Theta Kappa from the State Univ of N.Y. at Farmingdale. My husband and I relocated to Syracuse 15 years ago. I have 2 grown children and a beautiful 6 month old granddaughter. I really love my job here working with such a great dentist and his highly skilled professional team.
